There are a lot of calories lost when eating meat, because the animals burn calories by staying alive. So eating meat is like eating 15x times more calories from veggies. So everything bad for the environment about vegetarian consumption is true for meat too but in worse.

And perfect is the enemy of good. Veggies aren’t perfect, but they’re far better than meat for the environment.

I think this is about another issue. The article says they removed the view image button, which is not the issue here. On Firefox mobile, or any browser with a user agent other than chrome, you cannot zoom on an image, or open the context menu where you can share it, save it, open it in a new tab …
They basically override the default image behavior to make it awful to use if your user agent is not chrome.

The article mentions the extension “make google search great again” which is slightly different from “google search fixer” that only changes your user agent.

Yes, I think EVs in general (and especially hybrids) are a way to justify not investing in alternative modes of transportation for cities.

As for users you feel good about being “clean”, but in reality you are still polluting 10x as much as with public transportation.

I have both a full EV that can be charged on any standard power plug and a classic gas car. I barely ever use the gas, and only use the EV because of how much cheaper it is. I would’ve expected everyone to do the same, but maybe as you said gas is not expensive enough for most people so they don’t care.

It pollutes less, 20% less than classic cars on average in real life use. That’s barely anything.
