Goods Unite Us is another similar app, showing which companies donate to political parties. It does have some paywall issues but it’s better that nothing.

I left during the first mass exodus. I miss the large active communities and the wealth of knowledge.
But I don’t eat meat, I don’t wear name brand clothing, I don’t give evil corporations any more money to than is absolutely necessary (we all need gasoline), and I DON’T GO BACK TO REDDIT.
Regenerative Agriculture / Permaculture
If you plan to lease out to a farmer, find one that won’t fill it with herbicides and pesticides. And maybe look to only lease part of it while you work to recover other parts.
I’m looking to buy land that needs to be recovered and have the budget that will likely lead me to a place like this that doesn’t have direct road access. Good luck!
They aren’t typos if you’re uneducated, that would indicate they made a simple mistake. Those people are just that way.
It’s that an elephant dick?
You mean the responsible gun owners who don’t shoot until they have verified the target, cleared the surroundings and are ready to kill?
We’re not quite there yet.
This is how they lose.
If you had a party actually for the people, you would get a lot of the Trump votes as well. Most of MAGA weren’t about racist bullshit or half of what’s happened since the changeover.
They are tired of the corporate and government corruption and Trump promised (lied) to do something about that. We need to offer the same hope without all the hate. We need to offer change without just saying the other side is evil. It isn’t the ‘other side’ that is the problem. It’s the corrupt people in positions of power and the ones that tell you to blame the ‘other side’.
The elite Democrats aren’t worried about fighting back.
They are trying to figure out how they can win the next round AND HOW THEY WILL USE THE SYSTEM TO THEIR OWN ADVANTAGE ONCE THEY REGAIN CONTROL.
We need another party that is actually for the people.
They lost because they were offering the same bs they always do. No amount of time would have saved them. Trump won because he said he would do things differently. Harris lost because she wasted time fighting the Trump icon instead of offering solutions for everyday people.
Hopefully this failure will help push forth a party for the people instead of the garbage us vs them that we always get from both major parties.
Like poorly trained dogs, they attack anything different.
Police harass minorities. If you live somewhere where you are not considered a minority, you’ll likely not have any issues at all. But if you travel to someplace where you are the minority or are obviously not normal looking, you should expect to be harassed by local law enforcement.
ACAB
I don’t know why you’re downvoted.
OP, it’s your kid. It’s past time to figure out what they are into. I promise there is something that you can at least get a little into.
My kid likes banjo/mountain music. Not my thing but I enjoy seeing live shows with them because they enjoy it and I enjoy live shows.
At one point in my life I designed bathrooms and kitchens. I’ve sold thousands of faucets. Here’s a few points on regular retail faucets in the US.
Expensive faucets, you are paying for the design (Grohe), or for quality parts (Kohler).
Cheap faucets are made with cheap parts and are often old designs from major brands. These knock-offs are sold under store brand names usually (Aquasource/Lowes, Glacier Bay/Home Depot) and are made of cheap plastic. Avoid these unless you plan on replacing (rentals).
If you buy Grohe, don’t buy a US made model. Another company paid to use the name and ‘style’ in the US but the interior parts are cheap plastic bits and some things are modified to reduce the cost of manufacturing. Not worth the extra money they charge.
For most people I recommend sticking to the big names. Moen, Delta, Kohler, etc. They come with good warranties and parts are available everywhere.
You can still find really neat old faucets and repair them. Chicago, Price Pfister, Eljer had some good stuff back in the day and you can get new parts from Danco.
I got a new cell phone right before a vacation a few months ago. I ‘hid’ the old cell phone so it wouldn’t get moved or wander off while I was out of town because I still needed to transfer everything.
I’m sure I’ll find it someday.
We need to consume less disposables, but few of us are willing to tolerate even the slightest inconvenience. I’m not sure you can fix that problem without education at a young age. If you can’t fix the human greed issue, then you need to learn how to control it. Stop letting corporations and billionaires have all the money. If the population has a higher income, they can afford to pay for things that cost more to produce in a sustainable fashion.
Nationalize Corporations and use the profits to fund UBI and disability programs.
Got an apology via ‘Missed Connections’ but we had met on CL dating so she knew I would probably see it.
Also saw one for my ex (different girl).
I bit my tongue, thanks
Keep in mind many of these tough guy internet warriors you are talking about are waiting for their chance to shoot the protestors. They won’t be going after the government.
And those that are against the oligarchy that is transforming our aristocratic governing body and country into a dystopian nightmare… You expect them to just start shooting? Is that really the solution?
What then? All out civil war? Without international intervention it’s pretty obvious which side would come out victorious. It’s not those that want equal rights and a better country for everyone. It will be those that are willing to sacrifice everyone else for their own personal gain.
