Yeah it’s great because even without a make plugin, you can just add your make command to the vscode actions that’ll run your makefile.
Or even better, get the plugin which will auto populate targets from the makefile lol

I mean, it’s still quite the elephant in the room that hasn’t really been talked about.
Judaism is a restricted affair, you have to be born into it to be considered a part of the group that God has chosen to be saved. To them, almost everyone else is permanently non qualified, therefore they are not in the group. If you do want to convert, you have to jump through a bunch of hoops, and put up with a ritual of rejection until you’re accepted. By definition it’s an ethno-relegious group.
From that viewpoint, it’s only a skip away from ethno-nationalism, which is what Zionism is.
Unlike Christianity and Islam which offer the ability to join, and actively convince you to join. (Also Hinduism, Buddhism, etc).
There are only about 15 million Jews compared to 2.6 billion Christian and 1.9 billion Muslims.
Food for thought.
Dawg it was called the Crusades because it was exclueivley Christian nations fighting with Muslim nations over Jerusalem. Jews were essentially bystanders who often opted for the Islamic empire where they were allowed to live and not be constantly slaughtered by their Christian empire counterparts.
Israel as a functioning idea was introduced by the zionist movement of the 20th century, which Orthodox jews still condemn to this day because they claim there should not be a Jewish state without their Messiah.
To add to even more irony, the modern successors to these empires being Britain and Turkey actually lost interest in control of the holy land because it didn’t provide any substantial geopolitical power or resources. The Ottoman empire failed to protect it and lost the entirey of Trans Jordan in WWI, and Britain noped out right after WWII when they realized it could absolve them of having to provide for Jews in Europe.
insert beaten to death banana republic joke here
I mean Israel has done this, and also failed to do it one time:
On 10th October, 2001, Israelis attempted to bomb the Mexican Legislative Assembly and blame it on Pakistan. They had false Pakistani passports but were caught.
More likely though this is not the case as full false flags happen when something much larger is at stake. Israel is sitting decently comfortably right now, even with Europe suddenly switching sides (which is more likely to do with Trump’s crappy foreign policy).
There’s always a higher chance of intentional neglect, like Israel’s “failure” to spot Hamas’s original invasion plans because they wanted a reason for escalation. It’s entirely possible they were aware of a threat but chose not to act.
Then again with how fast the media is all over this, who knows.
Lol Modi let this play out just like he did for 2019, it’s even likely that he induced the attack himself, whether through Pakistan or directly. Imran Khan even predicted there’d be another Pulwama in 5 years, and he was right.
The wave of drones and ballistic missiles did practically minimal damage to both sides, even Brahmos took a slew of missiles to get past point defense. Pakistan army did jack during their return fire operation.
The only real damage was the aircraft in the air. I think Modi had this planned out with Munir as a stunt, but he wasn’t expecting PAF to function autonomously. He seemed pretty pissed about the ceasefire probably because he wasn’t expecting to lose several jets.*
Internationally, everyone is reporting on the initial air fight, but in Pakistan its Munir’s face plastered on every wall and tv channel, and in India it’s Modi’s.
*I’m not the only one who shares this idea BTW, several analysts have claimed that the IAF was caught quite off guard because they were under the assumption PAF wouldn’t engage with BVRs across the border. They think it was a political failure in planning the operation, and not the lack of capabilities of pilots and/or aircraft (as much as I like to think it is lol).
Pakistan’s generals would sell their nukes to save themselves before they ever used them lol.
Neither country’s leaders are interested in an actual war. Modi just wanted PR rhetoric for his party which is why this was almost a 1:1 of 2019. Munir just wanted PR rhetoric for the army running the country and an IMF loan to use on more land development schemes.
Some people actually use the tag feature so that they remember users when they see them again lol
Hey I came back to this after we didn’t see Tejas or F-16s lol.
Rafales didn’t seem to like the J-10s though ;)
The operation is over now, if you want the latest details, I begrudgingly suggest following the posts on r/Pakistan because there’s barely a Pakistani community on lemmy.
Still active drones crossing the border, a ton of them shot down with lots of pictures and videos. Several videos of India and Pakistan’s airbases getting targeted and/or hit by missiles.
India lost 3 jets already during their attack, but they seem to be penetrating Pakistan’s airspace well with drones and at the very least reaching close to critical targets.
There’s also a very unconfirmed report of a pilot captured due to a video of what appears to be a parachute, but neither India nor Pakistan has made claims of any shot down jets today.
Dawg that’s how BVR fights work.
It’s still a dogfight, you don’t just sit there and let the missile do all the work.
Even before the crazy new range of China’s PL-15, PAF was using AIM-120s and shot down a MiG-21 5 years ago.
Every airforce hides their tactics but you can open any DCS video using BVR missiles to see how difficult it can get
Fun stuff
They still do.
The nice thing about being on lemmy is that these morons get shredded even in the .world community when they roll in with the “ThIs iS wHaT yOu gEt FOr vOTiNg tRuMp” as if Biden didn’t just full send a 15 month long destruction and killing of Gaza.
UK being satisfactory even though its best journalism is crapload BBC and Sky News which is still a plume of smoke that came out of Murdoch’s bum.
Too lazy to check if actual Zionist or Indian larping as a Zionist lmao
Technically no because this is still 1:1 with the 2019 skirmish events so far.
The only difference is this time the army is in total control in Pakistan after ousting Imran Khan, so there’s actually a chance Pakistan won’t or fail to retaliate in a meaningful manner.
Either way, I hope to see J-10s v Rafales or JF-17s v Tejas or F-16 v everything lol.
I mean its possible they might actually be using them only for surveillance without anything on the hardpoints due to the larger range, but I like how the wikipedia file photo is a reaper carrying two hellfire AGMs and a fat paveway LGB for good measure.
“Surveillance” lol
I said the same thing about Egypt, Qatar, and Saudi negotiating a ceasefire and $50 billion dollar Gaza reconstruction plan as if any of those country governments would spend even a cent on the Palestinians.
Edit: which they did without representation from Gaza
Lol my friends joke Lockheed Martin uses Windows for the F-35 software
Pakistan army drove the country into the ground, but PAF has always had a ridiculous K/D ratio, of which a significant amount was confirmed by Chuck Yeager when he was the airforce dispatch to Pakistan.
Not to mention they’re still not some pushover military either. People talk about DMZ all the time, but the LoC is arguably way more militarized and way more intense in cross-border fire.
“6-nil”, rip Rafale lol
